On paper, we never should’ve met.
A fighter pilot with a packed schedule and sky-high standards.
A medically retired single mom whose biggest job was surviving each day.
But we did meet—online, unexpectedly.
And somehow, it worked.
Ten years later, with the kids grown and the chaos behind us, we’re still choosing each other.
Now we’re figuring out what this next chapter looks like—with all the same honesty, heart, and humor that got us here.
